The BT-003RS is now the chosen race tyre for the Thundersport CB500 Cup, despite being a road tyre!

The BT-003RS front and rear tyres both feature Bridgestone’s race-proven 3-layer compound, with a harder compound in the centre section and a softer compound on the shoulders.

The centre section gives excellent straight-line handling, stability and longer wear, while the softer, shoulder compound gives great grip and contact feel, especially when laying the power down and leaning hard into corners.
What’s more, we’re not talking any old compound here. This is Bridgestone’s newly developed ‘Ultraction Compound’.
As the name suggests, this is all about ‘ultra traction’, with mega grip for braking and cornering and optimum traction when coming out of the twisty bits! Both front and rear tyres also incorporate our proven HTSPC, with Mono-Spiral belt construction, to give better slide-control, line-holding, shock-absorption and stability at speed. In fact, we can sum-up all
the technical stuff with one, simple sentence… Riding the BT-003RS is like ‘riding on a rail’.

With newly formulated tread pattern for optimum drainage on wet roads… and the promise of more miles per tyre, the BT-003RS is all set to become the sports bike riders tyre of choice.
